What changes

Nothing about how you sell. Everything about what you can find later.

The paper khata works right up until you need last month's total, or the customer remembers the number differently, or the notebook gets wet. Digital Udhar Khata keeps the same two columns and does the adding, the searching and the reminding for you.

At the counter

One tap per entry

Pick the customer, type the amount, mark it udhar or jama. The running balance is always on screen, so you never total a column by hand again.

In the customer's hand

They can check for themselves

Customers sign in and see their own entries and balance — nobody else's. Fewer arguments at the counter, and no photographs of a notebook page.

Across your shops

Every shop stays separate

Each shopkeeper sees only their own customers. An owner account sits above them all with a full activity log of who changed what.

Three ways in

One ledger, three apps

The same khata, reached from wherever you happen to be standing.

Counter

Counter app

A till app for the shop phone or tablet. Install it once and it opens like any other app. When the internet drops, entries queue on the device and sync the moment it returns.

Installable web app · works offline
Android

Android app

The full shop in your pocket, and the customer's view in theirs — the same app knows which one you are when you sign in. Scan a customer's code to add an entry.

Customer

Customer web

Nothing to install. A customer opens a link, signs in with the code you give them, and reads their own khata — balance, every entry, and the shop's details.

What's inside

The whole book

Entries that survive a dead signal

Sales recorded offline sit in a queue on the device and post themselves when the connection comes back. Nothing is retyped, and nothing posts twice.

Walk-in sales too

Not every sale belongs to a named khata. Cash customers go through the same till without cluttering your customer list.

Sign in with a code, not a password

Generate a one-time code — or a QR the customer scans — and they are in. No email address needed, no password for them to forget.

Your shop, not our template

Add your logo, banner, tagline and contact details. Customers see your shop's own card at the top of their khata.

Opening balances carried over

Start a customer at whatever they already owe from the paper book, then let the running balance take it from there.

Take the numbers with you

Export customers and balances to CSV whenever you want them in a spreadsheet, or in front of an accountant.

A log of every change

The owner account sees who created, edited or removed an entry, and when. Accounts can be suspended without deleting their history.

Money and dates in the local way

Amounts, dates and plurals follow the language you pick, in every app — including the two that read right to left.

Languages

Six languages, translated all the way through

Not just the buttons. Every screen in every app, right down to the error messages.
